Then I read this quote from Leonard Michaels and felt strangely comforted:&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;"There is always something for which there is no accounting. McCain got high coverage, and a lot of ...</title><content type='html'>Fear not.  McCain got high coverage, and a lot of the polling is based on predictions of turnout by partisan identification.  My suspicion is that all of the polls are undercounting younger African-American votes who are both more likely to vote for Obama AND are harder to reach by landlines, since more rely on cell phones.  A lot of city dwellers don't even have land lines any more; I don't.  But Obama is hitting those cell numbers like mad; that's why he collected them in the Biden announcement.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;What African-American Obama supporter is going to want to give up the opportunity to vote for the first Black president, to be the only one in the family?  But Chuck Todd and Rasmussen can't find them in a directory as easily to poll them.&lt;BR/&gt;&lt;BR/&gt;Who's easy to reach on a land line?
